Bangkok Trip – Luk Kai Thong @ The EmQuartier

Being in Bangkok for training, not many places you can visit after office hour (esp when the next day you still have another training from morning). So mostly we only visit malls and we found this EmQuartier have a number of shops and restaurants that worth to visit and I like their hanging garden 😀

That spiral thing actually applied to the building too, so you can continue walking up from below to the top without taking the escalator (so the escalator only when u lazy to walk around and around)

Their open garden also looks cool at night 🙂

and as always I got recommendation from my Thai colleague to try the restaurant here : Luk Kai Thong at the 6th floor.

Luk Kai Thong @ EmQuartier

Actually lot of other restaurants around that also tempted me, but well… follow the recommendation first~

There are 2 menu recommended by my friend and we did try it:

Thai style Sukiyaki Glass Noodle

Among all of the thai glass noodle I tried, this one is THE BEST..!! Ordering this is a must when you visit Luk Kai Thong~ (and yet we order small size, should have order medium size…)

Hong Kong Fried Rice-noodle with pork and prawn

Another recommendation is this Hong Kong Fried Rice-noodle. Small size portion enough because for me the noodle a bit tasteless (the gravy is the one that taste good). But this one also nice~

We tried other dishes too and so far all food we order taste good…! 😀

Marinated pork with rice

Anyway when you browse their menu, I bet you will start drooling already by the selections of the food they offer 😛 I wish they have branch in Singapore~~ I don’t remember the price and the receipts I kept written in Thai words 😦 but the Thai glass noodle and Hong Kong fried rice-noodle around 250 THB for small size, while the prawn around 500 THB. Two of us cost 1,500THB before tax (we did eat a lot, LOL). For more information you can check their website : www.lukkaithong.com
