Bangkok Trip – Nara Thai

The second day in Bangkok after whole day in the class, we visit Central World mall and eat in Nara Thai (okayyy they have branch in Singapore but let me try the original here in Thailand). My colleague who has Thai gf often visit this restaurant and he recommend this place to me.

We order Tom Yum Kung, deep fried pork neck, soft-shell crab with chili paste, and stir fried kangkong.

Phunim phad pong curry (Soft shell crab with curry sauce) – 480 THB

They have the similar curry sauce with Somboon Seafood, but still can’t beat the taste from Somboon thought. But those who prefer soft-shell crab over crab (anyone? I always prefer crabs, lol) this menu can’t be missed~ I’d like to come back to Nara Thai for this dish 😀

Tom Yum Kung (380 THB)

The tom yum… not spicy, it’s a bit sweet instead 😦 well I expect by default Tom Yum should be spicy, but this one not spicy at all. So those who prefer spicy tom yum I won’t recommend to order this in Nara Thai.

Koh Moo Tord Hgar (fried pork neck) – 150 THB

I did try this in other restaurant (Mango Tree and Ros’niyom) they have better version of the fried pork neck. But overall, still taste good.

After all, you can always try this restaurant when you happen to visit Bangkok for their soft-shell crab curry 🙂
